These are My Confessions

So last Wednesday I signed up for the Scarf Swap (post about that here) and today I got an email with my match partner. I got super excited as I read through it until I realized something...I own a couple SILK scarves but I've NEVER EVER worn one before. I've never really learned how to wear them so I just haven't. Now don't get me wrong, I wear scarves ALL the time in the fall and winter but those are around my neck. I've never ventured into the headband, neck tie, etc kind of scarf wearing. This should be interesting to say the least.

I'm just hoping these images I pinned tonight will give me some inspiration...

My Love for Scarves is Growing

For all of you who haven't checked out Kendi's latest post, you must read it here.

One of her friends, Jessie, from The Concrete Catwalk, came up with this amazing idea to have a scarf swap. Not only are her and Kendi participating in it, but they are opening it up to bloggers too!

I just came across it today, but I've already submitted my info. and am ready to start swapping! It was really simple to sign up for. Just read through Jessie's post here and submit your full name, mailing address, e-mail, and blog link if you wish. But act soon because this is only open until June 19th! Then the next day everyone will be notified of their matches and can send them a silk scarves.

I had never of heard of anything like this before, but I think it's a great idea! It's about time all my scarves get some love from someone other than myself, right? I think I owe them that much.

I can't wait to see how this goes. Don't worry, I'll be sure to post some pictures of both the scarf I'm sending and the one I receive. I hope you can join in on the fun too!
